The phone was recently showcased at the Snapdragon Summit Global Highlights event in India, with Xiaomi highlighting the blue colour variant. In China, the phone is available in black, pink, and white as well.
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and backed by a 7,000mAh battery, the Xiaomi 17 supports 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging, making it one of the most powerful compact smartphones currently available.

During the Snapdragon Summit event, Anuj Sharma, Xiaomi India’s Chief Marketing Officer, confirmed that the Xiaomi 17 is coming to India soon. While the phone was displayed in the blue variant, it remains unclear whether the Indian version will match the Chinese specifications exactly.
In China, the Xiaomi 17 pricing starts at CNY 4,499 (~₹56,000) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The higher-end 12GB + 512GB and 16GB + 512GB models are priced at CNY 4,799 (~₹60,000) and CNY 4,999 (~₹62,000), respectively.
